M/V MING HAI is a Passenger Ship that was built in 1993 (30 years ago) and is sailing under the flag of Malaysia. It is a fastcraft operated by T-Waikiki, who also run the fast water taxi to Sitangkai!
This route from Tawau, Sabah to Bongao, Tawi-Tawi has only been operating for 3 months. They are posting their schedule on their Facebook account. Recently, they announced that they will have no trip on December 29, 2023 due to the year end break request of our Immigration Personnel.

It costs 350 ringgit or 4500 pesos one way for the 8-10 hour ride. The boat is comfortable and there is a cafe onboard and amenities.
Arriving in and to the Philippines not by air but by sea should be a new experience!
